Mirna Kutleša is a painter of the younger generation whose work is characterized by figuration and focused on depicting reality and dreams that are borderline realistic. The human figure is the most common motif in her art stories, either portrayed as a classic portrait or depicted as being a part of a particular landscape. In her work she often makes references to film, trying to make paintings resemble film frames as much as possible.
