Dunja Jankovic an academy-trained painter who, upon graduating from the Zagreb Academy of Fine Arts, earned a master's degree at the School of Visual Arts in New York. Her work is dedicated to creating comics, illustration, design and various interdisciplinary combinations. In her latest series of works the artist explores the possibilities of illustrating sound, movement and vibration in a two-dimensional drawing.

I am very interested in translating comics into a different presentation medium: instead of in the books and paper, moving it into the Internet realm, making it movable and interactive, giving it another dimension of sound in the future. It is a weird mixture of mediums that I am playing with (half hand made, half computer manipulated), said Jankovic.
