arTVision @ the Dea Film Festival

Artvision Local Promotional Meetings to be held in Gjirokastra and Saranda, Albania, on July 9th and 10th, 2015

The University of Arts of Tirana, as a technical partner of "ArTVision - A live art channel" project is going to organize two Local Promotion Meetings (LPM). These events will be organized within the Dea International Open Air Film Festival in the dates 9-10 July 2015.

As the Film Festival itself is going to be contemporarily organized in two separate locations Gjirokastra and Saranda the Local Promotion Meetings will follow the same logic and structure. LPM in Gjirokastra will be held in Çajupi Hotel on 9th of July, while in Saranda it will be held in Hotel Butrinti on 10th of July.

Gjirokastra is a city under UNESCO protection for its cultural and architectural heritage, while Saranda is a port and touristic city in South Albania, which summer activities are enriched by Dea International Open Air Film Festival and Butrinti 2000 International Theatre Festival.

The foreseen LPM with local stakeholders and opinion makers are meant for the promotion of the project activities, partners and results; each meeting will last half a day and will foresee a “questions and answers” session dedicated to the active involvement of potentially interested target groups (local institutions, cultural operators, opinion makers and artists). The LPMs will also support the sustainability of the ArTVision project results.

The Project, led by Puglia Region - Area Policies for the Promotion of Territory, Knowledge and Talent, has involved other nine partners, technical and institutional: Pino Pascali Foundation Museum of Contemporary Art; Veneto Region - Direction of cultural and performance activities; Academy of Fine Arts of Venice; Ministry of Culture of Montenegro; Faculty of Dramatic Arts of Cetinje – Montenegro; Ministry of Culture of Albania; University of Arts of Tirana - Albania; Primorje-Gorski Kotar County – Croatia; Kanal RI - Croatia.
