The “arTVision AWARD” in Venice

The best arTVision audio-visual products will be awarded prizes during the 2015 edition of the Venice International Film Festival.

During the next edition of the Venice International Film Festival (2nd – 12th September 2015) the best audio-visual works produced within the arTVision project by the five partner territories - Albania, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy (Puglia and Veneto) - will be awarded prizes by a jury of experts in cinema and the arts, representatives of the institutional world ,and by broadcasters.

The panel includes Maria Giuseppina Troccoli (head of Production, Distribution, Operations and Technical Industries of the General Direction for Cinema of MiBACT (Ministry of Heritage, Culture and Tourism), Giuseppe Ghigi (movie critic for national newspapers and magazines) Roberto Pisoni (editor of Sky Arte HD, TV channel dedicated to art and Italian cultural heritage) and Antonello Tolve (researcher in artistic experiences and critical theories of the twentieth century).

The initiative is defined by an Agreement Protocol signed by Puglia Region and Veneto Region with the General Direction for Cinema of MiBACT, to spread the artistic production of the project and promote its sustainability in the medium and long term.

On 5th September, within the Venice Days / Giornate degli Autori - an independent event on the fringes of the Venice Film Festival - there will be the presentation of the video finalists (5 for each category) and the announcement of the winners.

The Award categories are the following:

1. Best short-movie from a total of 15 produced within the project;

2. Best video/documentary from a total of 138 produced within the project;

3. Best artist video from a total of 138 produced within the project.

The Award Ceremony will be held in Lido di Venezia, Villa degli Autori, at 6 p.m. The detailed program will be published soon.

COEXISTENCE #04 Venezia

The launch event of the Venice stage of ART IN PORT - Coexistence: for a new Adriatic Koiné on December 20th 2014 at Magazzino del Sale n. 3 in Venice is the fourth stage of the contemporary art exhibition which is part of the framework of ArTVision Project, a European initiative co-financed by IPA-Adriatic CBC Programme 2007-2013 which involves artists coming from Albania, Croatia, Montenegro and Italy (Veneto and Puglia). The exhibition in Venice comes after the previous stages in the cities of Tirana (Albania), Cetinje (Montenegro), Rijeka (Croatia) and the tour will close at the end of January with the final stage in Polignano a Mare (Puglia).
