Simon Perathoner

This video shows the work of a young emerging artist, Simon Perathoner, who explores the relationship between the various possible forms of ‘image’ nowadays, when translated into a code to be widespread. The artist, who was artistically trained in Venice, collaborated during the whole shooting process, also by allowing us to shoot previously unpublished material related to his work in progress ‘Substract series’.

Vlasta Delimar

Vlasta Delimar is one of the most famous representatives of performance and body art, and the first woman in Croatia to use her bare body for the purposes of art. The controversial artist derives inspiration for her 35-year-old work from her autobiography, while she may be best known to the public as Lady Godiva, riding a horse naked through the streets of Zagreb.

Southern Photographs

The show, curated by Michele Cera, comes from an international workshop of photography with the Dutch professional photographer Cuny Janssen. It was held in September 2013 at the archaeological site of "Madonna di Grottole" in Polignano a Mare. The workshop has encouraged the students to run their own photographic project, reading and reporting the territory of Polignano a Mare and Cozze. It has involved students coming from the whole of Italy. Cuny Janssen is the author of internationally popular artworks as well as of "My Grandma was a Turtle", "Love me" and "Yoshino". During the three day workshop, he helped the students in developing their own work and shooting a personal photographic series in a coherent way. The show has also exhibited works by Mrs. Janssen, shot during the workshop, Southern Photographs is also part of the project AdriatiCoasToCoast, a big international project which reads Adriatic territories: SiFest (Savignano sul Rubicone) is the lead partner.
